This is a subject I've covered before and I'm revisiting this time because......well, if I'm honest I came across my old (and cheap) macro lens adaptor, so I thought I'd play around with it...

Human Topography is my take on the ubiquitous selfie and comprises a series of close up shots, sometimes abstract in appearance of one person (in this case me!). Rather than a single head shot, the series of images creates a dichotomy of being both an intimate partially recognisable portrait of someone, and an abstract representation of them.
