Not Mitchell's Fold

My plan for today was to visit Mitchell's Fold, a stone circle in Shropshire, spend a morning taking photos and generally exploring the area. However it was so bitterly cold (despite my many layers, hat, gloves etc), I was only able to stay a short while before deciding to find a less exposed site.

This then led me to a near by forest - much more sheltered with the added advantage that the light had changed and was creating some interesting dappled effects at the edge of the forest. I'd seen a Scandinavian artist create a similar effect with paint and I've been wanting to replicate it with my camera.

Here's the results.
