I spent today in Barmouth on the Welsh coast, and turned to an established landscape photography technique - Deconstruction.

The principle is simple, rather than take traditional shots of the landscape, you focus on individual elements that make up that scenery. When seen together you get a feel for the landscape in question.

I used this as part of my "Origins" project a few years ago, and here are the results from today.
